Libretto

A libretto is poetry or text set to music. It is doubtful that my words here will rise to the heights of the great operas and even the most clever of musical theatre, but they are the narrative to my life’s music, and I hope they may remind you of a song you have once heard and perhaps would like to hear again or even a song you’ve never heard, but hold a bit of curiosity for.  I do know how to not use dangling prepositions, but will try not to be so OCD that I fail to write in everyday language.  I’d like to talk as I would if you came over after school to do some music with me at my home, and we were sidetracked talking about the most memorable part of our teaching experiences.  I invite you to comment with similar experiences or questions to clarify any of my meandering thoughts.  This is dedicated to the many teachers I have had who went before me and the many teachers I had who were called “students”.  Thank you for trying to mold me into a better teacher than I was.
